Teach Kentucky is Participating in Brackets for Good
Teach Kentucky is participating in Brackets for Good 2015 Louisville tournament Presented by Bingham Greenbaum Doll.
Teach Kentucky is a non-profit organization dedicated to recruiting highly motivated young people to teach in Jefferson County Public Schools. These new teachers enhance the quality of education for our students. Teach Kentucky enriches Louisville’s civic life by retaining these young teachers in Kentucky.
Brackets for Good is a single-elimination, competitive fundraising tournament for nonprofit organizations where they can win $10,000.
How does it work?
Think of the annual, 64-team college basketball tournament, but replace the teams with nonprofit organizations.
Instead of scoring baskets, tournament points are scored by donating online at www.bracketsforgood.org Each dollar donated is one point.
In the first round of the tournament, Teach Kentucky is up against The Alley Theater. Get us into the second round by donating at www.bracketsforgood.org starting on February 27th.
