School Districts

Teach Kentucky sponsors have arranged special hiring relationships with three Kentucky school districts: Jefferson County Public Schools (serving the entire Greater Louisville area), Shelby County Public Schools (30 minutes east of greater Louisville), and Henry County Public Schools (about 45 minutes north of Louisville). We are also working on strengthening our relationship with Shelby County Public Schools (about 40 minutes from Louisville).

Each candidate must apply directly to the school district(s) by clicking the links in the menu on the left. The candidate must win an employment offer and position from the district. The school districts will make their own hiring decisions independently based on the merit of the individual candidate. The hiring decisions of the district are final and are not influenced by Teach Kentucky.
