SCHOOL DISTRICTS
Teach Kentucky sponsors have arranged special hiring relationships with two Kentucky school districts: Jefferson County Public Schools (serving the entire Greater Louisville area) and Shelby County Public Schools (30 minutes east of greater Louisville).
Each candidate must apply directly to the school district(s). The candidate must win an employment offer and position from the district. The school districts will make their own hiring decisions independently based on the merit of the individual candidate. The hiring decisions of the district are final and are not influenced by Teach Kentucky.
