Participants

The impact on our community is truly remarkable:

·         99 teachers have been recruited since the program’s inception in 2001

·         70 of our teachers are recruited to teach Math, Science or Special Education

·         63 teachers are currently teaching in Kentucky

·         16 teachers are teaching in other states

·         52 teachers have completed their MAT

·         35 teachers are currently enrolled with U of L or Bellarmine and are working toward their MAT

·         28 teachers have brought additional residents to Louisville 

·         Our teachers are positively impacting over 7,000 every day

·         70% are teaching middle school students

·         100 % of our teachers scored in the top 25% of Praxis II content exams

·         100% of the 2010 Math and Science teachers met the Teach Kentucky Challenge Scholarship
