Joe Franzen featured in The Louisville Paper for his urban yard. Read it in Meet Your Maker

Joe Franzen and his students were featured in the Neighborhood section of the Courier-Journal for building raised bed gardens for local schools.   

Teach Kentucky was honored by the University of Louisville's College of Education and Humana Development as a Key Collaborator,

"Our ongoing partnership with Teach Kentucky has been an exceptional community collaboration that has contributed greatly to our local community and statewide. Teach Kentucky candidates continue to serve a variety of schools and exhibit extraordinary leadership whenever they are found. Many of them have launched new initiatives in their schools and have become key teacher leaders throughout the district and community. Rowan Claypool has been untiring in his effort to improve services in recruitment, selection and training for Teach Kentucky candidates and has initiated innovative and supportive services that have improved the quality of Teach Kentucky candidates. We are truly grateful for this partnership and look forward to its continuance in many years to come," said Jan Calvert, Coordinator of the Alternative Certification Program at U of L.
