Teach Kentucky will provide each participant an introduction to the assets and leaders of the Louisville community within the first six months after moving to town. We will arrange, as we have done in our Bulldogs program, meaningful opportunities to meet significant political, economic, civic and cultural leaders in the region. In addition, we will host events at major community venues such as Churchill Downs, Waterfront Park, Actors Theatre, Kentucky Center for the Arts, Speed Art Museum, Slugger Field, H&B Bat Museum, Glassworks, and the Belle of Louisville.
Our goal is that in very short order each Teach Kentucky participant is familiar with their new home and has a base for beginning to make a contribution to the community.
